Policies and Terms
Review the proposed booking, payment, cancellation, road-test vehicle and website terms before purchasing services.
1. Booking Confirmation
A lesson, course or road-test package is not confirmed until Educator Driving School accepts the requested date and time and the required payment has been received. Website form submissions and messages are inquiries only.
2. Student Eligibility
Students must hold the valid Ontario driver’s licence required for the planned instruction and must carry the original licence during every in-car lesson and road test. Students must disclose licence suspensions, restrictions, required corrective lenses and any condition that may affect safe participation.
3. Payments, Taxes and Pricing
Published website prices are entered before tax, and applicable tax is added at checkout. Configurable lesson and road-test products are priced from the customer’s selected hours, class type or DriveTest location. Any travel charges, certification charges and third-party fees not shown at checkout will be identified before the service is confirmed. DriveTest appointment fees are separate unless expressly included in writing.
4. Cancellation and Rescheduling
Cancellation, rescheduling, missed-lesson and refund terms are confirmed directly by the instructor for the specific lesson, course or road-test package. Students should request and understand the applicable terms before payment. A late cancellation or no-show may result in a charge or loss of lesson credit when stated in the booking confirmation.
5. Lateness
Students should be ready at the confirmed pickup time. A late start caused by the student may reduce the available instruction time. Significant lateness may be treated as a missed lesson when the instructor can no longer complete the booking safely or remain on schedule.
6. Weather and Safety
Educator Driving School may postpone, shorten, relocate or modify training because of severe weather, unsafe roads, vehicle issues, instructor illness, emergencies or other circumstances affecting safety. The school will make reasonable efforts to reschedule affected instruction.
7. Road-Test Appointments
Unless expressly included in writing, students are responsible for booking, changing and paying for their own DriveTest appointment. Students must verify the appointment details and bring all documents required by DriveTest.
8. Road-Test Vehicle Packages
Use of a driving-school vehicle is subject to availability, a valid licence and the instructor’s assessment of the student’s ability to operate the vehicle safely. Educator Driving School may refuse vehicle use when the student is not ready, has not completed required preparation, provides inaccurate test details or creates an unreasonable safety risk.
9. No Guarantee of Test Results
Instruction, assessments and road-test packages do not guarantee that a student will pass. Test outcomes are determined by the student’s performance and the testing authority.
10. Course Completion
Students enrolled in Beginner Driver Education must complete every required component, assignment, in-car hour and administrative requirement within the applicable time limits before completion can be recorded. Exact requirements must match the current approved course and provider.
11. Refunds and Package Expiry
Refund eligibility, non-refundable administrative or completed-service amounts, package expiry and treatment of unused lesson credits depend on the booking confirmed with the instructor. Contact Educator Driving School for the exact terms that apply before paying.
12. Student Conduct
Abusive, threatening, discriminatory, intoxicated, impaired, dangerous or unlawful conduct may result in immediate termination of a lesson without refund and refusal of future service. Students must follow reasonable safety instructions.
13. Privacy
Personal information submitted through the website or during booking is used to respond to inquiries, create and manage optional student accounts, process orders and payments, schedule services, maintain required records and communicate with students. Newsletter and promotional email consent is optional and is recorded separately from account creation. Students may request removal from the newsletter list by contacting the school. Third-party payment, email, analytics, booking and learning platforms may process information when those services are used.
14. Website Information
Website information is provided for general purposes and may be updated without notice. Ontario laws, Ministry requirements, DriveTest procedures, prices, course benefits and availability can change. Official government and DriveTest sources take precedence.
